Suitability - Who should attend?
You don't need any prior experience or qualifications to take this Intermediate L&D level course. However, you should be proficient in English and have access to email and the Internet.
Experience in HR/L&D support or management would be beneficial, but this isn't essential.
CIPD Intermediate qualifications are ideal if you want to:

Training Course Content
To achieve the CIPD Intermediate Certificate in Learning & Development, you'll complete 5 units which total 30 credits:
- Developing Professional Practice - (6 credits)
- Understanding the Context of L&D - (6 credits)
- Using Information Metrics and Developing Business Cases for L&D - (6 credits
- Implementing Coaching and Mentoring - (6 credits)
- Facilitating Collective and Social Learning - (6 credits)
You can either pay for your course in full or opt for an interest-free payment plan. You'll pay a small deposit and the rest by monthly direct debit. Our plans are flexible, so you can extend the terms or pay your balance off sooner if you choose.
Please note that CIPD's annual Student membership fees are additional to your course fee.
You could continue your professional development with the full CIPD Level 5 Intermediate Diploma in L&D, of which the Certificate forms part.
This Certificate gives you key knowledge and skills at the Intermediate level; the Diploma covers more units and therefore gives you a more comprehensive knowledge of L&D.
You could also advance to the CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Development, which is equivalent to a postgraduate degree.
